The Rinks offers a number of hockey, ice skating, and roller skating programs that take place during the day, Monday – Friday designed for home school and charter school students. These programs offer recreational activity for skaters or players of all ages and ability levels. The Rinks are an approved vendor with a number of Charter schools throughout Southern California.
Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play
The Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Hockey program powered by Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry is a FREE introduction to hockey program for participants ages 4 to 12 with little to no prior skating or hockey experience. For more information & to register, click here.
Learn to Skate

Hockey Initiation is a skills development course designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of hockey, as well as basic hockey concepts. Basic skating skills required. The Homeschool Hockey Initiation program is currently offered at The Rinks – Lakewood ICE and The Rinks – Yorba Linda ICE. Visit a specific location for more information.
The street hockey league is a great way to play the sport of hockey without learning how to skate. The program is played on sport court and instead of using the usual skates, sneakers will do. For more information & to register, click here.
