Former Lady Duck Cayla Barnes Named to Women's National Team

EASTVALE NATIVE, BOSTON COLLEGE CAPTAIN BARNES NAMED TO U.S. NATIONAL WOMEN’S TEAM

USA Hockey announced today its 25-player U.S. Women’s National Team that will compete in the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championship, May 6-16, in Halifax and Truro, Nova Scotia.

Among the 25 is Eastvale native Cayla Barnes, who recently completed her junior season at NCAA Division I Boston College.

This past season, Barnes collected four goals and 10 points in 19 games, while also serving as the Eagles’ captain.

During her youth career, Barnes played for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks, Anaheim Lady Ducks and Los Angeles Jr. Kings.
