On Saturday, September 19, Great Park Ice will host the Warrior for Life Fund Face Off for Heroes game presented by the NHL, and in partnership with the Anaheim Ducks Alumni Association. This game will feature 16 former NHL players, including Anaheim Ducks Alumni Vitaly Vishnevski, Jean-Francios Jomphe, Kevin Bieksa, Guy Hebert, and Corey Tropp, taking on members of Naval Special Warfare from Naval Base Coronado.
This event is part of the Warrior for Life Fund’s multi-city memorial hockey series designed to bring together NHL alumni, Naval Special Warfare operators, veterans, and their families for a weekend of fellowship, remembrance, and community support, while supporting mental health, wellness, and resilience resources, fitness and recovery programs, and peer mentorship and fellowship opportunities.
